These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings for Healing Trauma Retreats held at San Flaviano, Località Palombara 5, 06030 Sellano (PG), Umbria, Italy, and operated by Tess Hunneybell / Tess and Me Pte. Ltd.
By paying a deposit or retreat balance, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Nature of the Retreat
Healing Trauma Retreats are educational and experiential retreats. They are not a replacement for psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, medical treatment, or crisis care.
Participation does not establish a therapeutic or clinical relationship.
Participation is voluntary. Guests remain responsible for their own physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing throughout the retreat.
2. Eligibility & Suitability
Retreats are designed for women who are emotionally stable and able to participate safely in a small-group reflective environment.
Guests must disclose relevant medical and psychological information prior to attendance.
The facilitator reserves the right to decline or discontinue participation, without refund, if:
-
The retreat environment is not appropriate for a guest’s level of stability or safety; or
-
A guest’s behaviour compromises the safety, wellbeing, or respectful atmosphere of the group or staff.
Any decision to decline or discontinue participation is at the facilitator’s sole discretion.
3. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable deposit secures your place.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to the retreat start date.
Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit.
Prices include accommodation, meals, and scheduled retreat sessions unless otherwise specified.
Flights, transfers, travel insurance, and personal expenses are not included.
4. Cancellation by Guest
Deposits are non-refundable.
If you cancel:
-
More than 30 days before the retreat start date: all payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit will be fully refunded.

If your place is filled from a waitlist, a discretionary partial refund may be considered.
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly advised.
5. Cancellation by Organiser / Force Majeure
If the retreat cannot proceed as planned due to circumstances beyond reasonable control — including but not limited to war, civil unrest, natural disaster, government restrictions, public health events, travel disruption, or other force majeure events — the organiser will make reasonable efforts to:
-
Reschedule the retreat to a later date;
-
Offer transfer to an alternative retreat;
-
Change venue if feasible; or
-
Provide a suitably qualified substitute facilitator if necessary.
If rescheduling or transfer is not suitable, any refund offered will be limited to the portion of payments remaining after deduction of non-recoverable costs and expenses already incurred.
The organiser is not responsible for travel costs, accommodation outside the retreat, insurance, or other personal expenses.
